The main findings and the regional action plan of the Opportunités Prescott et Russell Opportunities survey were unveiled on February 20, 2019 during the monthly Council meeting of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. Representing the opinion of 563 local business owners from all eight Prescott and Russell municipalities, the 100 page document provides an overview of local businesses and their future plans, as well as the regional workforce and business climate.

Our final report was submitted to us last week, by the United Counties of Prescott & Russell’s Economic Development department.

The Town of Hawkesbury wishes to inform its citizens that improvements are currently being undertaken in the following municipal parks: Old Mill, Cadieux, Larocque and Sidney beginning on August 7, 2018.

New play structures will be installed in September 2018.
