Parking and Boat Launches -
Guide for residents

The Town of Hawkesbury would like to inform its residents as well as visitors that a pass is necessary in order to use both boat launch ramps as well as the boat trailer parking.

If you need help to complete the purchase or the renewal of your seasonal pass, please contact the Sports Complex information desk, from 8:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Monday to Friday), from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Saturday & Sunday) at 613 636-2082.

From May 1 to October 31, boat launching is permitted to those who hold a seasonal pass at Confederation and Cyr-de-LaSalle Parks.

From May 1 to October 31, boat launching is permitted to those who hold a daily pass for $ 25 at the Confederation Park only. Daily passes are available only at the Parking Pay Station P1.

A 2-day pass is also available at a cost of $ 50 (valid from the date of purchase until 10 p.m. the next day).

Please be reminded that it is mandatory to hold a  boat launch pass when parking a vehicle with a boat trailer. Those who violate this regulation will be subject to a fine of $150 plus fees.

What are the current rates for boat launch passes?

Parking near the municipal docks is prohibited without a boat launch pass. In order to purchase a pass, please visit reservations.hawkesbury.ca.

Applicants must hold a drivers licence and registration documents for the trailer and copies must be provided in order to purchase or renew boat launch passes.

Here's the information you will have to provided to buy a parking pass:

  • First and last name of the trailer's owner
  • Adress and proof of adress
  • Phone number in case of an incident with the trailer
  • Email address
  • Vehicle's plate number

How to Obtain a Parking Pass Online (step by step)

Overnight camping/parking is authorized on the east side of Confederation Park under the following conditions:

Overnight camping/parking in a motorized recreational vehicle, or in a recreational trailer hauled by a motorized vehicle, is authorized on the east side of Confederation Park until noon the following day and for one night only.

No person shall camp in/park overnight a motorized recreational vehicle or a recreational trailer without paying the $25.00 fees.

No person shall, in the east side of Confederation Park, camp during unauthorized hours and for more than one consecutive day, unless authorization has been granted by the Director.

No person shall, in the east side of Confederation Park, camp in a tent, or in any other structure, unless authorization has been granted by the Director.

No person shall, in the east side of Confederation Park, camp in a prohibited area.

No person shall, in the east side of Confederation Park, hook a camper, a recreational vehicle, a recreational trailer to an electrical outlet, unless authorization has been granted by the Director.

No person shall, in the east side of Confederation Park, discharge any water, or waste water from a recreational vehicle or recreational trailer.

Overnight Boat Docking and RV Parking

It is mandatory to pay the $35 fees before docking your boat for the night (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.) at Confederation Park directly at the Parking Pay Station (P1).

Visit reservations.hawkesbury.ca under Overnight Parking to pay the overnight fees. There isn't any document to display in the window. Officers will check in the system before park closure if the fees have been paid in the online system.
