Building and maintaining an ice rink is an art. Hawkesbury works closely with Mother Nature during winter, and takes into consideration several factors before opening the rinks. A colour-coded system informs you of the best times to skate. Please avoid skating during preparation periods.
Reminder: Winter precipitation can create hidden hazards on the ice, so always be cautious. Helmets are mandatory for children aged 12 and under.
Our parks are a community treasure, and keeping them clean is a shared responsibility. Each of us plays a role in maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of our parks. By following these rules, you help ensure that everyone can enjoy a clean and welcoming environment.
